continued Mr. Olszewski began his 25-year career early. An Ocean County native, he was still in high school when he first gained nursing home experience through an internship. He continued to rise through the ranks and to gain hands-on experience working in various departments of nursing facilities while seeking a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. After earning his RN licence, he also gained a Master's in Healthcare Administration and later served as a Complaint Investigator at the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services. During his time of government service, Mr. Olszewski investigated complaints and deficiencies at nursing homes across New Jersey while continuing to advocate for the elderly. "What drew me to Regency Grande was the precise match between my goals and aspirations as an administrator and the Regency mission, which begins with the founder and permeates everything and everyone here," said Mr. Olszewski. "I have always believed in compassionate care, in the power of the patient-centered approach and in dedication to total quality in the day-to-day delivery of care and services. It is refreshing and energizing to be able to play a role in an organization that has long been a leader in all of these areas." In official surveys, Regency Nursing and Rehabilitation Centers have consistently been ranked at the top of the list of New Jersey skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities. Yet as Mr. Olszewski attests, after only a few weeks in his new post it is clear that going above and beyond what is required by State and Federal regulations is the norm at Regency . "You can tell you are at Regency by just glancing at the activity schedule. Here we have more than twice the number of activity staff of most facilities and provide a wide variety of exciting activity programs every day. The commitment to activity programs is unprecedented, quite frankly, I'm blown away." "While some may consider this a relatively small matter, in fact, it perfectly illustrates an overriding philosophy of care that tells us: always do what's right for the people we care for. In that way, we firmly believe we will ensure the fullest possible lives for our residents and patients," he added.
